Memory Cleaner 5.0
These applications come with multiple features and tools that you can use, but Memory Cleaner & Speed Booster only has a few features and it doesn't really let users decide which processes should be stopped or give them the option to whitelist certain applications.
Dated interface with some features
The app sports a really dated interface, that simply seems chunky and bored compared to other applications that use all sort of visual effects and animation. It doesn't come with a tutorial but considering the limited number of features and the simplistic interface, you wouldn't really need instructions to access the tools that it provides.
It opens with annoying banner ads on the bottom and it even features popup ones, but there's no option of removing them whatsoever. Aside from the simplistic and dated interface, it's also non-responsive at times.
Some settings before you can get started
The app has some settings under the menu, you can have it start automatically so that it would clean and boost processes without having you to open the app. You can have it boost speed every 1 hour and turn on the automatic speed booster.
The home screen features an icon that you need to tap in order to boost your phone. It doesn't shows you which files it deleted or processes it killed, so you can't decide to keep certain ones. It displays and shows you CPU and RAM usage, but the percentages are simply too high to be accurate.
Manage tasks
It also comes with a toolbar in the notification area showing you how many apps are running and how much RAM could be freed. The task manager helps you see which apps are running in the background and decide whether to kill them or not. You can keep the ones that you need and select the others to stop.
All in all, the app isn't the best that you would find in its range as it has a dated interface, offers few options for cleaning your device and it doesn't actually show you how many processes it killed or how much memory it freed. It also doesn't have a one-tap widget for your home screen or the option to whitelist apps and processes.
