Magic Effects 2.4.3
The interface is similar to that of many other photography editors
Unfortunately, the app doesn't come with any surprising features or tools that would make it stand out from other applications on the market. But it does have a nice touch to it with the centered area that lets you swipe the screen to change the loaded image from your gallery.
It has icons as shortcuts to all sorts of sections in the app, including the camera, gallery or editor. It doesn't come with any sort of instructions or tips to show you how to access features or tools inside the app.
Same old editor by Aviary
The app lets you snap pictures instantly or import images from your gallery. Still, the image editor is the same old from Aviary, with the dark background and all the editing tools displayed on the bottom side of the screen.
While the editor does provide you with all sorts of tools, it comes with many in-app purchases. You can enhance your pictures by enabling the high definition feature or illuminating sections of it.
In addition, there's the option of adding all sorts of effects to your images. You can also add frames, stickers or crop images to your liking, Users can add text, whiten areas of the picture or adjust brightness and contrast.
Some shortcomings
The app comes with lots of popup ads that will surely annoy you and plenty of in-app purchases. In fact, it only offers some tools per category and the others need to be purchased.
The shop is filled with features, but they're priced over 0.99$ so if you were to pack the app with a variety of options, you'd be paying quite a lot. The app saves all your images in low and high resolution, so it doubles the amount of pictures you've edited, but the output image is jpg. It doesn't offer users with any options of sharing photos directly from within the app.
