Some applications even let you cut audio tracks saved on your device and turn them into unique ringtones. MP3 Cutter lets you do just that, but it also offers users the option to merge songs together. It has a nice design and plenty of features to choose from.
Sleek interface with many options
The app launches directly with the home screen, it doesn't come with tips or instructions for users to better understand how the application works. It doesn't have material design, which is quite inconvenient since there's no side menu for settings and access to sections inside the app.
In fact it doesn't have a settings menu, so you won't be able to make any changes to the interface or the functionality of MP3 Cutter app. This also means that you won't deal with notifications, at least not those coming from this app. MP3 Cutter can only cut MP3 tracks, any other format won't be displayed by the app.
Cut tracks and create your own ringtones
MP3 Cutter automatically finds all audio tracks saved on your device, you can also use the search bar to type in keywords and find items easier. However, it doesn't let you browse directories and search for tracks.
It's quite easy to create a ringtone, all you need to do is select the song and pick from multiple options. You can trim tracks and thus create a ringtone, merge multiple songs together, delete items, play tracks, use full song as alarm tone, ringtone or notification sound. You can also share items on social networks.
More features
The app lets you cut whichever part of the track you want, simply by sliding a bar on the screen. You can have it divide songs by 5 or 10 seconds. Play a preview and save the item under the name of your choice.
You can set the saved tracks as an alarm tone, ringtone or notification sound. It's automatically saved on your phone so you can also share tones with friends on social networks.
The app also lets you merge tones, but it doesn't allow users to pick sections so you would only attach a song to the end of another. All edited ringtones can be checked out in two separate sections.
