LinkedIn 3.4.9

Socialize with friends and colleagues, apply to jobs
LinkedIn is one of the most popular social networks out there, which has grown in the past few years and is now competing against some of the top platforms on the internet.

It's business-oriented, providing a place where colleagues and friends can communicate, explore new opportunities and exchange ideas. It's a professional alternative to the social networks people use in their spare time.

Well organized UI with plenty of features at hand

Before you can start using the network, you need to set up your account. LinkedIn doesn't need much personal information from you, other than your name, occupation and work place. The layout is truly intuitive, with the menu on the left side accessible from any section in the app.

You can change setting by tapping on the 'hamburger' icon on the top right side of the screen, also available in any page. There's a search icon on the top of the screen, use it to find people, jobs, companies and even groups.

Connect with friends

LinkedIn connects to Facebook and gathers all your contacts and lists them as suggestions. You can connect to people and add them to your friends list. In this way you'd be able to create a whole professional community of people that could potentially open up business opportunities or help boost your career.

Based on your current position, the app provides you with suggestions of jobs but you'll need to edit your profile before you can apply. Add education, work experience and skills and apply to jobs directly within the app.

Message contacts and join groups

In order to become visible on LinkedIn, users must have many connections and belong to relevant groups. Thus, search the app for groups that might fit your preferences and profile, in order to meet new people and follow various companies.

The app comes with the option of adding notifications. Users may add their location if they wish, but it isn't a requirement as for other applications. Additional features can be unlocked if users upgrade to a premium plan prices start at 17.99$ month.
