Aillis (formerly LINE camera)
Intuitive interface with plenty to offer
The app opens directly in the camera mode, and it comes with some tips and instructions on how to access the app and all of its features, so new users wouldn't have trouble with it. Simply swipe left to access pictures in your gallery and use the on screen tools to make changes to them.
The app makes it easy to take selfies and regular pictures. You have the option of enabling the flash, reversing the camera, setting a timer and most importantly, applying filters before you snap the picture. The great thing about this is that you can decide which filter or effect is best for your picture even before you take it. It also comes with a randomize button, swipe the screen so the app can apply all sort of filters.
Take selfies and edit them instantly
You can also disable sound effects and apply grids to your picture to perfectly choose the position. But if it's a group photo, don't have your friends stand around for too long, take the picture and edit it later.
Swipe left to open it and choose from the many filters and effects available. The app also comes with the option of blurring the background of pictures, adding vignettes and you can take quick shots in a row using the multi-shot feature.
Edit pictures and make collages
Users have the option of cropping pictures and applying stickers and stamps. However, some need to purchased. Other than that you can use the editor to draw sketches and apply them over the picture. You can also use a brush to do so or add text to the image.
Borders can also be applied and there are many options to choose from, but you'd have to be patient as the app takes a while to apply them. You can also add photos to create collages with nice borders and effects and share them with friends on social networks when you're done.

Design / UI9
The interface is very complex, with each icon hiding several features and tools. |
Function9
All changes to images are made instantly and the app could satisfy the needs of any photography enthusiast and why not, professionals. |
Security7
It needs many permissions and the app seems keen on peaking into many areas of your phone, some unrelated to its features like location services. |
Battery8
It seems to take up less battery than similar apps, but you still need to keep an eye on resources especially if you intend to spend a lot of time in it. |
Price8
The app is free of charge, but many features must be purchased and their prices vary between 0.98$ and 2.95$. |
Compatibility7
The developer didn't mention Android versions compatible with this app. |
A neat photo editor with an interface that might get confusing at times.
