Issuu sports a clean and fresh interface that makes it easy to search and find the content that you need. There are no themes or customization features, but you won't need them as the app focuses on content and sharing.
The UI is well structured with sections and a hamburger menu that incorporates all the tools you'd need to browse through magazines with high-quality pictures. The app comes with a safe-mode that filters publications that have explicit content.
Read magazines in landscape or portrait view
The feed section comes with a variety of magazines and publications on various topics, with all sections neatly arranged. You can follow any topic and receive suggestions of magazines based on your choice. All magazines come with HD images so you don't have to worry about the quality of pictures.
In addition, you can filter publications by language but not date of issue. The explore section is the place where you can shift through the most popular and recent magazines. There's the option of favoring them, adding them to your many stacks, sharing or flagging publications with inappropriate content.
Issuu Clip tool for commenting on pictures
The app recommends online registration via your Google+, Facebook or Issuu account but it's not mandatory. This is required for creating your stacks of magazines, following a publisher or other users, so Issuu can also represent a community of users. In addition, you can use your account to upload magazines or comment.
The Issuu Clip function lets you share or comment on any part of a publication. All you need to do is clip the part you find interesting, write a comment and share it on your social channels.
