Health Mate - Steps tracker & Life coach by Withings 2.06.70
One of the apps that could help you stay healthy and lose weight at the same time is Health Mate. It's filled with all sort of features for keeping track of your weight, blood pressure and heart rate. However, it seems to have fewer features compared to other similar applications for medical purposes.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The app launches with a short but very colorful tutorial that provides users with an overview of the app and all the features that they could access. Before you can enjoy the app, you'll need to register with an account. Health Mate can be linked to multiple Witings devices for tracking your health, but you can also do that manually if you don't have any.
First, create an account and provide the app with your name, date of birth and gender. Afterward, you'll need to specify your weight and height, but in imperial units. Unfortunately, you can only change the unit of measurement only in the settings menu and after you've create an account.
Track your weight and body fat
A side menu on the left provides you with a shortcut to all sections inside the app, including to a timeline and settings menu. You will receive all sort of tips and instructions, to make it easy to navigate inside the app. Set a goal, like a desired weight and track your progress every day in a calendar or on charts.
The app sets a goal for its users also, to walk or run 10,000 steps each day. Simply, turn on the sensors on your phone when you go out for a run and have the app record your progress. Of course, the target should be personalized based on your weight, height and health condition, so you shouldn't regard it as a standard.
More features
Invite your friends to join the platform and participate in weekly competitions with them. There's also a leaderboard, where you can check your progress and the app lets you change the language and add multiple users to your device. It also lets you check weight trends and your progress since you registered.
Everyday, users must weight in and add the information inside the app. You can also add comments, like the meals that you've had or how much time you've spent exercising. However, the app has fewer features compared to others in its category.

Price10
It's completely free of charge, no ads or in-app purchases whatsoever. |

It should work on devices running Android version 2.3.3 or later, making the app available to multiple users. |
It does what it says, but it isn't enough to compete against other similar applications.
