Sleek UI with plenty of features at hand
The app launches directly with the setup, the first thing that you need to do is to set a 4 digit PIN to lock the app. Next, users must provide an email address in case they forget the PIN and need the app to send them a unique code for accessing their content.
You can also set a security question and answer, in the possibility that you might not remember the PIN code. FotoX has a realy nice interface with lots of features at hand, including some customization tools like various themes for the UI.
Lock files easily
The app only lets its users lock pictures and videos, no other file formats can be hidden inside the app. Still, it comes with two picture samples so that users could learn where to find features and how to access all sort of sections. It has a side menu with access to all the areas of the app and a toolbar that provides quick access to tools.
The app comes with instructions throughout the app. You can access the camera, take a photo and save it directly to the app, without making it available in your stock gallery. You can also switch between grid and sidebar view, the app comes with batch selection.
More features
It lets you create new folders and manage files by moving them from one location to another. It comes with enhanced protection, every time someone enters the wrong pin code, creates the front pattern or face recognition fails, FotoXwill record and store the attempt in a separate section inside the app.
It will snap pictures of the person, the name of the application that the person tried to open and the exact time and date. You can also make the application invisible to others but users would have to launch the app from the dialpad or the browser. You can also prevent the app from being uninstalled except from inside FotoX.
