Fit Brains Trainer
One of such applications is Fit Brains Trainer. It uses animation and plenty of visual effects. It's part of Rosetta Stone's award-winning Fit Brains Brain Training Program, which includes a full web training program + 7 targeted brain apps.
Sleek design with plenty of features
New users need to register with an account before they can start using the app. The information you provide will help personalize your brain training experience, that's why you'll need to provide the app with your age, health condition and gender.
The app doesn't really have a test for initial assessment, you'll need to explore and take a test so that it can determine your skill level and provide you with challenges. The app consists of 14 brain games and 360 workout sessions, a bit fewer compared to other similar applications.
Train your brain
Fit Brains Trainer helps you train multiple areas of your brain like memory, processing speed, concentration, problem solving, and visual-spatial skills. The app can help you have a faster reaction speed, improve your thinking, concentration, memory and recognition.
In addition, you can better your hand-eye coordination and your attention span. The app has three main sections, the one with games, training and performance, where you can check your rating and improvements throughout the program. Each game has three levels of difficulty, you can only unlock the next one after you've completed the others.
Play games and improve your skills
Games inside the app help you improve your concentration, problem solving, memory, visual skills, reaction speed, language. After you complete a game, you'll get a score, your purpose is to reach 1200 points to keep your brain fit.
Many of the games aren't available for free, you'll have to unlock them in the paid version for up to 7.69$ per year. But frankly it might just not be worth it, considering that the games are really easy even at the advanced level and the only thing that really matters is your reaction speed. Still, the app is really well developed so it's worth checking it out although it might not be worth buying.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
The app looks really good and it uses animation really well, but despite the visuals it doesn't have a tutorial for new users. |
Function7
It has few free games and you'll need to play them multiple times until you unlock the advanced level, but some of them are really easy. |
Security7
It needs some personal information but only to provide you with a personalized experience and it needs access to your location services although none of its features are linked to them. |
Battery8
Consumption isn't that high, you don't have to worry about the app draining your resources. |
Price6
Only a few games are free, you'll have to upgrade for 7.69$ per year to get access to others, a bit pricey considering how easy the games are. |
Compatibility7
The developer didn't mention Android versions compatible with this app. |
It's definitely worth a try, but not worth the pay.
