File Manager (Explorer)
Easy-to-use but dated interface
Nobody said that the UI of a file manager app should be boring and dated, but some are. File manager app by Cheetah Mobile has a dated dark theme, but users can switch to the light one. You can also change the font size and set the home directory path for when the app launches.
The interface is very well organized, all tools are neatly arranged at the top of the screen and there’s a settings icon on the bottom right. You can change the order of icons on the toolbar as you wish. The app comes with banner ads, which take up some space.
Manage your files
The app comes with the option of showing hidden files and thumbnail. Users can also activate the root explorer, but that’s only recommended for making advanced settings to the phone.
The app lets you create multiple folders and network connections, share files or add bookmarks. You can also arrange folders in a grid or sort them by name, date, size and type.
More features
The app also lets users search for folders on the phone or SD card. You can search by file type or simply type in a keyword. There’s also the option of using multiple selection for managing files, you have the option of copying, moving, deleting or sharing files.
In addition, multiple files can be compressed. File Manager has a section that displays a storage analysis of the memory used on your device. It works on rooted devices also, helping users make all sort of settings.
