Simplistic but neat UI
The app’s interface is rather rudimentary, it comes in the highly popular Android style with a menu on the left side, incorporating all features available in this app. There’s a toolbar at the bottom of the page, with all sorts of features that you can use to help sort and manage files. File Manager doesn't come with instructions, you wouldn't need them as the UI is well structured.
Manage files on your phone
The app makes it easy to sort and arrange files on your device. It opens with the internal storage an all files stored on your phone. All navigation items are displayed at the bottom of the screen. You have the option to sort files by name, size and type.
You can also create folders or search for specific files. The app makes it easy to bookmark files or add them to the homescreen. There are some settings that you can do, like have the app show hidden files and thumbnails for pictures and apk files. Other than that, it comes with two themes and the option to clear history.
Manage apps and downloads
File Manager can also be used to manage apps, but has few features compared to dedicated applications. It provides shortcuts to camera files and downloads that you have stored on the phone. The menu is also filled with sections for movies, music, pictures and screenshots that you may have taken.
It also provides access to system memory, so you can manage the resources on your phone. It features ads, but they’re discreet and don’t detract from searching for/viewing files. Still, you can remove them by purchasing the premium version.
