Explorer is an easy-to-use application that lets you do just that and provides you with all the tools you need to manage files fast and easy.
Sleek interface with many tools at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to get you started. Instead, it opens directly with a list of all root files on your phone and you can also access the storage directory if you swipe the screen right.
You can access all features on the bottom of the screen and the overflow icon gives you access to all other options inside the app. It also comes with some preferences, you can change the dark theme into a lighter one or choose the view mode, select from simple and detailed lists or icons. You can also make tabs visible or select from different icon sets.
Customize the app to your liking
Aside from themes, you can also have the app show hidden files, image thumbnails and display file sizes into K, MB or GB where appropriate. Other than that you can also have the app remember the most recently viewed folder for each tab, when starting up.
The app also comes with a search bar that lets you find files easily by simply typing in their name or you can add bookmarks to various locations on your phone. The app also lets you create folders and directories to several paths on your device and it lets you add or close tabs.
Manage files on your device
Other than that, you can manage files easily by moving, renaming or deleting them. The app also lets you sort them by name, date, size and type. You can have the app open files, copy them to another location or share them with friends on social networks.
It also lets you delete multiple files or zip them into archives. You can also create shortcuts or send them to your contacts. However, the app is missing the ability to add a password in order to protect your files and folders from prying eyes.
