Clean Master

Every phone needs to be secured from malware and threats lurking on the internet, but the level of protection depends on what apps you access on your phone and how much personal information you store on it. Clean Master is a great app that helps protection your phone from security risks and boost it by managing apps that drain power and take up resources.

Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand

This UI is neatly arranged. It displays animation revealing the amount of free storage and how much RAM memory apps on your phone use. Below, it displays all available features at the bottom of the page. The menu is located on top right corner and provides links to other apps designed by the developer.

It also has a settings section where you can have the app display a permanent icon in the notification bar, have it provide you with alerts and enable the floating widget. The all can be set to remind users of rarely accessed apps or those that frequently restart.

Delete junk files and boost your phone's performance

The app makes it easy to delete junk files in your phone. Simply tap on the feature and the app starts scanning your device for residual and unnecessary files stored on it. Simply tap on clean to delete files that you don't wish to keep. When you uninstall an app even in your stock app manager, Clean Master will provide you with suggestions on deleting residual files.

In addition, the app comes with a phone booster that tells you the temperature of your device and shows a list of running apps. Check the ones that you wish to kill and tap on boost to stop them. However, some apps are programmed to restart immediately and Clean Master can't prevent them from doing so.

Antivirus and app manager

Clean Master comes with an antivirus feature that doesn't take it a lot to perform scans, but it isn't very efficient with clearing threats as it didn't detect an app that contains adware. The app is very efficient as a manager.

It offers users the option to uninstall or backup applications installed on the phone, gives suggestions of apps that the user might like and moves apps to the SD card if the user chooses to. Other than that, it can detect apk files installed on your phone. Apps can also be sorted by name, size or date.

You can also protect your privacy by using the applock feature or the download manager to organize your downloaded and received files. The app comes with a feature that lets you share wallpapers with other users.
