Google Play Store is filled with all sorts of photography applications, some more advanced than others. However, it's always nice to find applications that stand out from the crowd with their sleek interface and amazing graphics.

Cameringo Lite is one of those apps, that provides with all the tools but not for editing pictures, but for applying effects to the camera even before pictures are taken. Moreover, the app has many other features not just filters.

Sleek interface that needs some getting used to

After testing so many apps, especially photography applications we've come to truly appreciate easy-to-use interfaces and instructions for operating even the most intuitive apps out there.

Developers could really gain some popularity if they help out new users and provide instructions to make it easier and faster for them to navigate in the app. Cameringo Lite doesn't come with a tutorial and since it applies the interface over the camera, it only features icons and users need to tap on them to figure out what they stand for. Still, it leaves out plenty of space for adjusting and snapping pictures fast.

Apply effects and filters to images

Even before you snap them, the app offers you the option of applying multiple effects and filters. You'll find them arranged in a row, simply tap on the one you wish to apply, the total is 120. Not all of them are available, some are included in the premium version which costs 1.39$, but unlocks amazing features.

You can also add borders to pictures. Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation to make sure the picture is perfect. The menu offers you access to some settings, like the silent mode or the option to increase brightness. The app also opens a small window so you can see the picture zoomed out.

Many more features

Aside from editing options, it also lets you adjust horizontal level so images will always have the perfect orientation. You can apply grids, snap pictures by simply tapping the screen or enable the image stabilizer. Use the macro focus to perfectly aim the picture, enable the histogram or use the timer. It also comes with a night mode and a help section.

You can add geolocations to your images or browse through the gallery directly from the app. It also lets you create GIFs, by recording short videos and then playing them. Record while in motion or enable reverse recording to make sure your videos turn out great.
