Impressive and intuitive GUI
The user-interface is cleverly designed. Out of a long list of topics, users may filter articles on domains that interest them the most, after which the app starts downloading articles, making them available for offline reading as well. It also comes with instructions of use and neat animation to enhance user-experience.
You can change the background, adjust text size or share articles via social networking sites. There's also a section with videos and reports on the latest issues, and a link that enables live broadcasting of Bloomberg TV station.
Check stock prices on various markets
Another great feature is the ability to check share prices and rates on various markets. The section includes lists of updated rates for equity indices, commodities, bonds, currencies and equity index futures, basically everything you need to know if you're a broker or just an investor looking to buy shares.
Each list comes with its own set of settings, for example you can calculate the parity between two currencies or exchange rates.
Manage your portfolio of shares
This app can also be used for tracking stock prices and managing portfolios. Simply search through the long list of available tickers and add companies to your portfolio. The app displays information on stock evolution, together with charts, rates, statistics and company information. There's also a link to related news.
However, you can't set alerts for when stock quotes drop below a certain value and charts cannot be adjusted to periods shorter than 52 weeks. In addition, one must always use such apps only for informative purposes and always double-check rates before buying or making transactions.
