BlendPic 2.31
One more reason why they're so popular is because people would rather post a picture on social networks than write text that not all would read. BlendPic is a nice app that lets you apply overlays to pictures and make some changes to transparency, but it does have its limitations.
Sleek interface with a boring layout
Photography apps tend to sport a clean interface with an intuitive layout, but it can get boring at times. Still, it represents an advantage for new users as it helps them get accustomed to the app faster. It features two icons for snapping pictures and importing images from your gallery.
There's also a whole section with support that users can give to developers, by rating or sharing the app. It comes with banner ads in the editor mode, but they aren't that intrusive or annoying and the app is free of pop-up ads. Still, there's no option of removing them and BlendPic has a whole section with recommendations of other photography apps that you can try.
Apply overlays to your pictures
Import a picture from your gallery and start editing. You can crop, reverse or rotate pictures as you please. The app lets you blend pictures together, by adding nice overlays with effects. It comes with more than 30 pre-installed overlays and about 15 more you can download for free inside the app.
Adjust transparency and edit layers as you please, by rotating them. The app also lets you adjust light exposure and focus, to make sure you edit pictures perfectly. BlendPic allows you to pick from various filters and effects that let you enhance pictures and make layers stand out. Save the picture to your gallery or share it with friends on social networks.
Some limitations
Still, the app has some shortcomings that make it lag behind other more popular apps. One of the most upsetting issues about this app is that it doesn't keep the picture's aspect ratio and forces users to crop pictures into a square, which means that you can't create unique wallpapers for your phone's home screen.
One other disadvantage of the app is that it lacks contrast and brightness settings for pictures. In addition, it doesn't let to pick in which format you'd like to save your pictures and automatically selects jpeg. Other than that, the app outputs photos of a lower quality and size of under 1MP.
