Adobe Lightroom mobile 1.2
Adobe Lightroom mobile is the Android version of a highly popular service for editing pictures and storing them in the cloud. While the app is well-known among iPhone users, the Android version was just recently launched and it already has some shortcomings.
UI that resembles that of the iPhone version
The app does sport a rather sleek interface with plenty of features at hand but it does get a bit confusing. Obviously, it needs online registration with an Adobe account and it doesn't offer any instructions or tutorial to get new users started.
The free version includes 20 GB of free space and lasts for 30 days. Afterward, users would need to subscribe with an account and purchase a plan from the many available. The app doesn't come with any settings, the only options that you'll have is for collections of pictures, but none for the app itself.
Edit pictures
The app lets you access any picture on your phone and edit it using the many tools the app provides. You can adjust the white balance, temperature, tint, exposure, contrast and many more on your pictures.
There's also the option of adjusting the clarity and vibrance of pictures. Moreover, the app lets you add filters to your images and even edit RAW pictures taken by DSLR cameras, a feature that not many apps have.
In addition, you can crop images to any sizes you'd like and use gestures to do things faster. When you're done, upload the picture to the cloud and have the app sync any changes.
Organize your files into albums
Lightroom lets you organize all pictures into albums, add as many as you like and remove them whenever you wish to make more room. You can also have the app automatically upload pictures to your cloud account, but you can't set it to do so only on WiFi.
Therefore, you should be careful because upload settings must be done to each album separately. Other than that, you can enable offline editing and make changes to pictures even when you don't have internet connection or share your images online. The app also plays a slideshow with all pictures that you've included in a certain album.
