AVG Cleaner & Battery Saver helps improve the performance of your phone, saves your battery and removes unnecessary files. It sports an intuitive interface and provides users with all the tools that they need.

Sleek design, similar to that of other AVG applications

The app launches directly with the terms and conditions page, you'll have to check the accept box in order to view the home page. The interface resembles that of all other AVG applications, with the dark blue background and side menu on the left.

You have access to all sections in the menu and before you can enjoy the app to the fullest, you'll need to log in to your AVG account. The main sections are displayed on the home screen in the form of thumbnails, the app also shows you the amount of memory that can be saved together using the app. You'll find all sort of instructions and tips, throughout the app.

Clean your device of cache files

AVG Cleaner arranges all of your applications based on the ones that have the largest cache files, with a single tap you can free your memory of lots of unnecessary files. You can also clean history in certain applications, including in the browser, downloads, media files and clipboard.

You can also delete large files from your phone, batch selection is available. Remove your call log for incoming, missed and outgoing calls, so that they don't take up unnecessary space on your device.

Manage your apps and enable battery profiles

It also displays a chart with free storage space on your device and the type of files that take up the most space. You can check out a list with the largest applications and uninstall the ones that you no longer need.

In addition, it tells you how many apps run in the background so you could kill them. App and data usage is also available, together with a chart with battery usage. It comes with multiple battery profiles that you can edit and enable on your phone.

You can turn off certain services and set conditions for when you wish the app to automatically swift to those battery profiles. However, some of these are premium features and they're only available for a 30 days trial. You can upgrade for 11.79$ per year or 3.89$ per month.
