Choose drinks and customize them on the spot
In the main screen of Alcometer you can enter the required details for the person you are trying to get the readings and these include the weight, gender, average alcohol consumption and the amount of food consumed before starting to drink.
The following section is the one where you add to the list all the shots, cocktails, beers and wine glasses, along with some very important data. The exact time of consumption is great to have, as is the amount and alcoholic strength of each beverage.
Each entry can be modified as you see fit, so you can even change the drink names and add new ones to the app's database so you can easily add them the next time they are consumed.
Detailed info on the live tile, on the Glance and lock screens
With Alcometer you can check out the estimated blood alcohol level and the approximate time when you will be completely sober from the dedicated section that is the third and last screen you can go through.
Other information like the amount of calories reported to the quantity of alcohol you ingested and the maximum BAC level are also shown in there, thanks to some nicely animated tiles.
The shortcut you can pin to the Start screen is able to display most of these details, along with the hour you had the last drink and the total number of beverages.
A great thing about this app is that you can have it show the current and maximum BAC levels as well as the estimated time of sobriety onto the lock screen and on the Glance screen, if your device supports this feature.
