Wireless File Transfer 1.2.1

Transfer files easily using this neat app on your Android device
Storage on Android devices is quite limited, that's why many people transfer some of the files to their personal computers. Google Play Store offers a whole array of apps that could help you with that, one of them is Wireless File Transfer.

It's a neat application, suitable for transferring files between your Android file and PC. However, the app comes with some flaws and it not user-oriented. It also might take a while to discover how the app works and it doesn't have that many tools.

Simplistic interface with only a few features at hand

The app doesn't come with any instructions or a tutorial, but it does have a section with some tips that you can check out. The UI is not intuitive at all and the app doesn't have a settings menu which is quite inconvenient.

This means that users won't be able to make any changes to the app's interface or functions. It also doesn't use material design and the UI is quite simplistic with only a few features. It's missing animation, which a few apps from this category use.

Transfer files

The app lets you transfer all sort of files between your devices, including photos, videos and applications. You won't be able to browse files on your device, instead the app provides you with a ftp address which you'll need to type in your Windows explorer.

You also get a username and password, to access the connection. Both your devices need to be connected to the same WiFi so the app would work. Once the password was entered, you can access all of your folders and files on the phone.

More features

Simply drag files from your Android device and then copy them to the desired location. You can also copy files from your computer to your phone using the same method.

You don't need to worry about privacy, as the connection between your devices is quite secure. The app doesn't come with any additional tools, but it does let users copy whichever files they wish from their phone.

Still, the app is quite useful for when you don't have an USB cable or don't wish to transfer files using one. However, it's quite complicated so instead of trying to figure out how it works, it might be a better idea to go fetch a cord and connect your devices.

Editor's Review
GOOD

It's a bit complicated and unappealing, we've sure there are nicer file transfer apps on Google Play Store.
