Lazy Alarm Clock 1.0.4.1
One of them is Lazy Alarm Clock. It's a neat application with lots of features at hand and the possibility to set up multiple alarms on your phone. But don't expect much from it since it's not that rich in features.
Intuitive but simplistic interface
Lazy Alarm Clock doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient considering that new users could always benefit from some tips when launching a new app. Still, it displays all the alarms on the home screen but it lacks a settings menu.
In fact, the app doesn't have any kind of settings which means that you won't be able to make any changes to its UI or the app's functions. It doesn't have material design, which is quite inconvenient and it seems that the app's layout needs some improvements. The name of alarms is poorly displayed, sections need more space.
Create all sort of alarms
The app lets you create all sort of alarms, but it doesn't have an icon for that you'll need to tap on the new alarm banner. There's the option to pick the time, but it could use a feature for making it easier to do so rather than tapping icons to adjust hours and minutes.
You have the option to enable vibration and pick a ringtone. Unfortunately, the app doesn't come with any additional sounds that you might use, it only accesses your ringtone gallery and lets you pick from there. Moreover, users can't pick a track from their audio gallery which is quite inconvenient.
Some flaws
You can set a repeat date for your alarms and add a title so you can differentiate between them. The app uses animation to hep users disable alarms. You'll need to swipe the screen to make the sound stop, this will make sure that you're up before you disable it.
Unfortunately, the alarm won't stop until you manage to play the game, but the sound volume will go down even if vibration continues. It lacks a snooze button, which is a basic feature that all alarm clock apps have. Other than that, it doesn't come with a notification in the status bar which is quite inconvenient.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface surely needs an upgrade with more appealing features and the option to access a side menu. |
Function6
It lacks a snooze button and many other features that some alarm clocks have, aside from the fact that it doesn't come with sounds. |
Security9
It's a really safe app, it needs few permissions from your phone which means that it shouldn't pose any privacy issues. |
Battery5
Consumption seems to be a bit high, keep your phone plugged in during the night. |
Price7
It comes with some annoying banner and popup ads, it lacks any option of removing them with an upgrade. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It needs some more tools and a nicer interface.
