Dull and ill-fitted UI
While the content is great, the delivery isn't quite stellar. Wallpapers HD has a dull interface that comes with a toolbar on top, which also covers your notification bar so while you're in the app, you won't be able to check the time or the phone's battery levels. Still, the main page seems well fitted, but all other sections leave blank spaces, while ads overlap images. There are banner ads in all sections, without any option of removing them with an upgrade.
Browse through various images
The toolbar on top of the screen features shortcuts to images you've saved on your phone, making it easy to access them in the favourites section. There's also an icon for scrolling through random pictures, but if you're looking for anything specific simply tap on the categories icon to see all sections, they're arranged alphabetically making it easy to find whatever you need.
The list of categories includes pictures with animals, landscapes, sunsets and cosmos. You can also find images with architecture if you're into modern photography and the image quality is pristine nonetheless.
Set images as wallpapers
If you were looking for an ordinary wallpaper without too many patterns or details on it, simply browse for pictures by colors and you'll surely find what you need there. However, the app doesn't come with a search bar and users won't be able to type in topics or words and find related images.
Setting a wallpaper is really easy, tap on the designated icon and select wallpaper. You can also set the image as photo for a certain contact in your phone list as the app doesn't have any trouble with this feature. Still, it seems to automatically crop images and doesn't let users do so that themselves.
