Windows Phone users have a lot of alternatives at hand and one of the utilities that can fit the bill is World Time. Not only does it show the current date and time for numerous cities, but it can also serve as a time calculator.
Pleasant look and practical design
The application has a pretty neat interface, with nice graphics from end-to-end. More so, you have the possibility to opt for one of the 3 available styles, so as to personalize the way in which the information is displayed inside the app.
There are some annoyances you will come across when using World Time and these are caused by the animated advertisement banners that keep on changing at the bottom of the screen.
View the time for any location on Earth
This utility enables you to add as many cities as you want for viewing the exact time in those locations. The information set can be completed with details regarding daylight, clock adjustment and sunrise/sunset times for those places.
In order to view the current time you will have to open the app every time, because it doesn't update the hour on the home screen unless you leave it and open the settings menu or any other area.
The time zone calculator module consists in fact of the world day/night map and by dragging the terminator line to change the hour you can view the time for each of the stored locations.
