Beautiful and informative GUI
The looks of this utility are pretty impressive as they feature some high quality images and an exquisite design for the interface elements. The information is very well structured and organized into an easy to read and highly informative layout.
The backgrounds are animated and the live tile you can pin to the Start screen also offer an overview of the weather in a visually appealing style. There are 3 themes for these tiles you can choose from, so you can add a bit of a personal touch.
The content is very well organized and presented, while all the transitions are smooth and glitch free. On some occasions, advertisements will appear inside the "Settings" area of the application.
Search and add locations to view weather details
Weather Premium can present the current conditions for any city you add from the dedicated area and this is done in a very straightforward manner. More precisely, you simply type in the location name and press the search button then you can tap the city to have it added to the list.
The weather data includes not only the current temperature and general aspect of the weather, but also the wind speed, the expected quantity of precipitation, as well as the high and low temperature values.
Unfortunately, the details are not as accurate as they should and the 3-hour prognosis intervals are too long, so you might see inside the app that it's raining, while looking out the window you can see a clear sky with the sun shining.
Long term forecast and fun explanations
The application offers the same detailed forecast for the following 4 days, so you can tap on their corresponding tiles to check out the info at a glance.
Swiping to the left or right will take you to the fun side of Weather Premium, as it has a couple of modules where you can view the funny prognosis, respectively the clothing advice offered by this app considering the outside weather conditions.
