Once you install and start the app you will be greeted by a simple GUI, with all the filters and commands in plain sight, so you can access them with no efforts.

There is a lot of space reserved for the image preview, so you will be able to look closely at all the changes that occur while framing the subject. The filters are applied quite promptly and the modifications come into effect almost instantly.

The thumbnail preview for all the built-in effects is great as it can give you instant feedback and you can see how the picture will look like once you snap the shot.

Choose the filter and capture snapshots on the fly

WarpCam offers a small number of effects (currently 8 filters are supported) and once you pick one from the list, it will be applied and the live preview changes from the thumbnail grid preview to the full mode.

A great thing about this utility is that it enables you to quickly switch the camera in use, with one tap on the dedicated button, so you can make the most of both front-facing and rear cameras, if your handsets is equipped with two.

To acquire the image it is mandatory that you press the "Capture" button shown in the lower side of the screen, since tapping the screen will not work for this app, even if you might be used to this capture mode from the default camera app or from other similar utilities.

Quick processing and sharing possibilities

Taking the picture and displaying the result onto the whole screen will take up a couple of seconds, but WarpCam will do this on its own, so no configurations or other kind of intervention is not required from your part.

Once this operation is completed successfully, you can view the hilarious snapshot and if you want to show it to your friends, use the special "Share" button to have it sent inside an SMS or email message and even via the social networks you subscribed to.
