Tally Counter 1.2.0.0
Those who carry around their mobile devices to use them for pretty much any activity can get carry out this task as well, with the help of a specialized tool. For Windows Phone users one of the apps made juts for such purposes is Tally Counter.
Sombre yet easy to use front-end
The appearance of this utility is lacking any elements of graphical design that could pass as appealing, so it relies solely on its simple layout and convenient placement of the functions to attract as many users as possible.
The commands are kept in the main menu placed in the lower side of the screen, making them easy to reach. Just above this menu you will come across some ad banners that appear after a few uses, but fortunately are not a constant presence throughout the app.
Easily create and manage groups with several counters
Tally Counter allows you to add as many groups as you need and inside every one of them you can include several counters, each corresponding to a different activity. For any of the selected groups you can set several values that trigger various actions.
More precisely, you can assign the maximum and minimum values, as well as one for resetting all the counters to that exact number. When the upper limit is reached, the respective counter flashes green, while is the lower limit is hit, the flashing color will be red.
Add or subtract with customizable increments
One neat feature of this application is the fact that you can personalize separately the increments and decrements for every counter, so, for example, when keeping the score for a game you can append a different number of points than the one you deduct with a single tap.
If for some reason you need to include negative values in your count, you will surely be glad to know that Tally Counter supports this as well.

There is a substantial drain of power while Tally Counter is running, so the battery usage registers very high values. |
Price8
For all users interested in getting a simple and easy to configure tool to keep count of various things, this app can serve the purpose quite well. |
