TXTCrypt 1.2.6.0

A neat application that helps you encode your texts and send them safely to your contacts
Securing the data exchange that occurs online is something many are looking to achieve, regardless of the format in which the information is being transmitted.

Because people send messages in text format, numerous applications specialized in the encryption of such content have been developed.

Thus, Windows Phone users can try out, among others, a simple tool that goes by the name of TXTCrypt and is made to ensure written texts are ciphered, so only the sender and recipient can decode them.

Clean appearance and tidy interface

This utility comes with a friendly GUI, focused on practicality, but with decent graphics and a smart layout that work together to offer users a pleasant experience overall.

The text input area is pretty generous, as it can accommodate up to 7 rows of text in the same view, but it doesn't scroll down when this limit is exceeded, so the lengthier texts cannot be viewed.

The commands and functions are all at hand, either up front inside the main screen or accessible from the main menu hosted in the lower side of the screen.

A small nuisance will appear after a few uses as you will be confronted with some occasional reminders that prompt you to rate TXTCrypt.

Type in or paste the text to encode or decode

With this application you can easily cipher text content with 64-bit encryption, based on a password that you set and which can have a length ranging between 1 and 8 characters.

After you write down or paste the content and input the passkey all you have to do is tap the "Encrypt" button to have the message encoded on the spot. You will have to make sure you send the code to the person who receives the encoded bits, so they can use the same app to decipher it.

A neat feature of TXTCrypt is the ability to remember the password you choose, so you can use it several times. Also, you can activate the password confirmation as well as the automatic transfer of the encrypted or decrypted text to the system clipboard.

Sending out the encoded content is one tap away because the application has in the main menu two buttons you can put to good use, one for sending the encoded text inside an email and the other for sending it via SMS.
