SysApp Pusher 3.2.6.0
Smart organization inside a neat layout
SysApp Pusher offers a neatly organized interface, where all the data is structured in a rigorous manner, so that you can browse easily the numerous entries listed inside. This tool keeps the applications arranged by developer, so you have at your disposal several sections, one for each of the following: Nokia, Microsoft, Samsung and HTC.
Besides this grouping, the apps are assigned to relevant categories, so if, for example, you are looking for a chat or Facebook client, you will find them listed under "social". You can also add as many utilities as you want in the area reserved just for you, called "my apps".
Once in a while, when starting SysApp Pusher you will come across a prompt that asks you to review the application, but if you don't want it to appear anymore, you can discard it for good with a single tap. More bothersome are the ad banners that keep on changing and flashing in the lower part of the screen.
Explore and manage the vast lists of apps
The application takes care of the monitoring on its own, but you have at your disposal a button that triggers the manual check for all apps. When you tap on any of the entries you will be taken instantly to that app's page in the Store, so you can view and install it or perform the upgrade.
A long press on an item from the list reveals a menu that contains the sharing, removal and update commands. This means that you can verify individually the utilities to see if a newer version is released.
A welcomed feature for SysApp Pusher is the ability to backup to OneDrive the list of applications and have it ready for restoring at any moment you see fit.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface is a bit disappointing from the visual perspective, as it doesn't allow any customization or a different arrangement of the listed items. The organization of the content saves some points in this respect, while the intrusive adverts cast a shadow over the whole experience. |
Function9
The automatic and manual update checks are some neat features this app has in store, not to forget the backup and restore abilities it boasts. It could be improved with the addition of a smart detection of installed applications and by marking these utilities to set them apart from the others. |
Security8
SysApp Pusher requires access to data stored in sensitive system areas, like the phone dialer and owner identity, without an evident connection with its functionality. |
Battery8
While the app is checking for updates the energy consumption remains at moderate levels. For the rest of the operations, the utility needs only a small amount of battery power. |
Price9
The application offers freely all its features, with the users having only to deal with the numerous advertisements that plague the interface. |
Compatibility8
This tool is good to use only on Windows Phone 8 and above handsets, with a minimum screen resolution of 480 by 800 pixels. |
