Super Filter 1.0.0.1
Windows Phone users who are willing to carry out this activity onto their devices will have to look for some appropriate tools and one interesting piece of kit with a suggestive name is Super Filter.
Uncomplicated front-end focused on practicality
The looks of this application are decent, without standing out through any visually appealing elements of graphical design. The overall appearance is rather dull and the graphics and commands seem unadapted for large displays with full HD resolution.
The preview area where you can see how the selected filters look like onto the loaded pic is well-sized. The small thumbnails that showcase the effects in the lower side of the screen use a default image and not the one you have queued for processing.
Going through the various filters is smooth and there are no delays or other kind of flaws in this respect. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a letdown related to the fact that you cannot zoom in the photos loaded in this app.
After a few uses you will start to receive some reminders that prompt you to rate and review Super Filter, but these messages appear pretty seldom, so they are less intrusive.
Capture or select a saved picture to edit
The utility is ready to help you take snapshots on the spot and have them modified with the effects you think are most appropriate for each photograph.
In case you want to tinker with some of the pics that are already stored locally inside your photo folders, Super Filter is also ready to help and as soon as the processing is complete you can add the new images to your collection with one tap.
Customize images and share them on the go
The application offers just over a dozen filters that you can try on the selected pictures and they include auto levels, exposure enhancement, negative or blur effects. The processing time is very short, so as soon as you tap on any of the filters, they will be applied immediately.
In case you want to share the edited photo with your friends, the app will make it possible for you to post it on your Facebook account, but you will have to log in first and then you can add a name to the selected image before publishing it.

Bottom Line
Design / UI6
The appearance of this utility is rather plain, with a bit of issues when having to cope with large resolution screens. |
Function5
There are a few nice effects in the package, but the feature set lacks editing capabilities and users can only share pics via Facebook. |
Security10
The app can be safely installed and used as it doesn't come anywhere close secure areas of the system. |
Battery6
Super Filter needs quite a bit of power to run well, so the battery usage remains at high levels for most of the time. |
Price10
Since the app offers everything it has without asking for anything in return, it has an excellent value. |
Compatibility9
Users who want to try out this utility will need a Windows Phone 8 or higher handset to do so. |
