Plain and simple GUI for utmost ease of use
The interface is clean and easy to work with, as it comes with just two buttons, one for playing the selected portion of the song and the other for saving the ringtone. The graphics are smooth and going through the application's different screens is seamless and without any delays or other kind of flaws.
The first screen displayed when the app starts offers you all the information you need to know related to the location of the output files and the purpose they can be used. The main workspace also has a nice background, while the commands for shaping the sound file have a natural feel to them.
Effortless ringtone generation
It can actually be difficult to come up with a simpler method of cutting audio files than that offered by Ringtone Maker because all you have to do is pick a song then, by dragging two markers along its duration, you can set the start and end points. Since there are no other extra options for editing the selected bit of audio, like adding some enhancements or increasing the volume, the only thing that's left for you to do is save the file.
The play and stop button that is placed in the main menu displayed in the lower part of the screen is the only extra function besides the audio selection sliders and it will enable you to easily preview the marked portion of the track.
There is a slight drawback when it comes to the increments used for defining the beginning and the end, namely the fact that the app uses the second as measurement unit, instead of offering smaller divisions as well. This would help avoid cutting or including some part of the track whose presence will be quite noticeable.
