Reading Lens 2.1.0.1

A useful magnifier for looking at small text or objects that are otherwise difficult to see
There are many situations in which someone might need a bit of help to examine something up close or read the fine print on some paper, so having at hand a specialized tool might be a really good idea.

For Windows Phone users who are on the lookout for such a means of increasing the visibility of small text or objects, Reading Lens can prove a really trusty companion.

Clean look for effortless operation

This application has a pretty simple interface, with almost the entire screen available to serve as the magnifying glass lens using the live view from the phone's built-in rear camera.

All the functions and commands are neatly tucked inside the main menu that resides in the lower side of the screen, so they can be easily accessed and used. The display is very responsive and the live view has no delays or other similar flaws.

A neat thing about Reading Lens is that you can use it just as easily in portrait and landscape screen orientations, with the menus adjusting promptly to any modification in this respect.

Assist light, special filters and manual focus capabilities

This application is ready to help you in any situation and particularly useful in conditions of low light is the built-in "Lamp" feature that will make use of the camera flash to shed light on the target objects.

The illumination is used automatically when focusing in automatic mode, but you can also have the lamp kept on with one tap on the corresponding button. Also, if you prefer to set the focus by hand, this is also supported by Reading Lens, so you can make any area of the live view you are interested in clearer by moving the circular slider control.

Should you care to add a more special touch to the preview, this utility offers you a few filters for activating the auto levels, inverting the colors or viewing everything in grayscale mode.

Capture photos and save them on the spot

With the help of this app you can easily take some pictures of the target text or objects by tapping the dedicated snapshot button from the main menu. As soon as the image is captured, it will be displayed on phone's screen until you choose to return to the live view.

The photos will be stored inside the "Saved Pictures" folder of your image library, so you can retrieve and view them without any difficulties.
