Rawer 2.6.6.0
Rawer is one such utility and is will make it possible for you to view not only the DNG Nokia camera raw files generated by your phone's on-board camera, but also a wide variety of RAW formats coming from hundreds of types of DSLR or other type of digital cameras.
Tidy front-end, made for practical use
This application has a decent look to it, a bit dull as it lacks any appealing backgrounds or graphics of some sort. Instead, it is focused on providing a straightforward means of handling a certain kind of files.
The image preview is very generous and the photos are shown almost onto the entire screen, allowing you to easily zoom in and move inside the full resolution pic with intuitive touch gestures.
All the commands are easy to reach from the main menu hosted in the lower side of the screen and there are only very few nuisances that will come to bother you from time to time. These are the rate and review reminders that can be deactivated and discarded with two taps.
Browse the RAW files stored locally or in the cloud
Rawer is able to discover the compatible images that are stored inside the Camera Roll folder and each time you start the app it will carry out this check automatically.
In case you keep the RAW images inside a different container, on the phone or on the attached SD card, you can browse to that location and pick the ones you want to view.
An important advantage of this application is its ability to handle photos stored in the OneDrive account, so it allows you to open them on the spot.
Detailed image information
The utility takes a few seconds to open the selected files, but once it succeeds, you can zoom in to look closer at them or simply check out the "Info" section to learn every detail about how the image was taken and about its properties.
Thus, Rawer presents you all the EXIF info attached to the selected photograph, accompanied by a RGB histogram shown in the upper side of the screen.
In case you want to share the loaded image, the app enables you to send it out via SMS, email or through various social networks. The editing functions are not available until a paid upgrade is purchased.
