Plain appearance, with a decent organization of the content
This app is made to be as easy to use as possible and therefore the visual appeal is completely left aside, while the practical aspect remains the main focus.
There are no fancy graphics or backgrounds, but the functions and commands are all conveniently placed inside the main menu hosted in the lower side of the screen.

Local and cloud storage protection
The utility makes it possible for you to easily add photos stored onto your phone, capture fresh snapshots or record videos that will also be kept safely, shielded by the access password.

A great asset of Protect Your File is the ability to import files from your Dropbox account(s), but this functionality requires another third-party app installed to facilitate the access to the cloud storage service.

The application offers you a neat method of hiding contacts you don't want others to see you are calling by disguising them under a fake name.
If the entries are not shown anywhere except for inside the app, the number will be visible form the call history, so make sure you remove them from that area after placing the call.
Protect Your File also provides you a neat file sharing feature that is based on a built-in webserver you can activate from the main menu. This component, once enabled, will allow anyone to connect to your protected storage via a web browser and view your files, but only if you give them the access password.
