Photos PRO is one of the tools of this kind and it should be to the liking of plenty of users since it offers a cool an efficient way of viewing digital images and sharing them.
Neatly organized layout for a simple app
The app has a tidy interface, with a clean appearance that is pleasant to look upon. Everything is well organized and easy to access inside the GUI, be them image galleries or the options for selecting the albums on display.
The preview area is of a decent size and you can zoom in and take a closer look at any image you select from the list. Insofar as the map area, where the location where the photo was taken can be viewed, the navigation is smooth and fluent, without any delays or other kind of glitches.
Select and view individual images or slideshows
All the albums stored onto your phone are selected by default, so you will be able to go through all the photos in the "Preview" section. Nonetheless, to make things easier and finding certain images more simple, the application keeps the pictures ordered by date as well.
By tapping the year or month, depending on which area you are browsing, a jumplist will appear promptly, enabling you to choose the time period you are interested in visiting to check out the contained images.
When a pic is loaded in the preview area, you will have right under it a list with all the photos and swiping left or right through the thumbnails you can select other images to load.
If the zoom and pan touch controls are intuitive, Photos PRO also comes with a neat "Rotate" function so you can adjust the loaded pic so it is displayed correctly.
The picture info button is also hosted inside the main menu that appears in the lower side of the screen and by pressing it you will be able to view all the available details concerning the respective photo.
In case you wish to go through all the images from the selected album(s) without having to tap or swipe too much, the slideshow feature of this utility should come in handy. The configuration is easy to do and via the dedicated "Settings" section you will have the possibility to choose the duration and direction of navigation inside the albums.
