PhotoShare WiFi 2.1.0.0
It may happen, though, that someone wants to send a set of photos directly to a friend's phone, without having to go through the whole log in, upload, send link and then download procedure. For such cases, having an app like PhotoShare WiFi is one of the best ideas.
Simple and easy to use GUI
Thanks to a plain and clean interface, this application allows you to share images on the go. The preview area has a generous space reserved inside the home screen, while the operational buttons are conveniently placed in the lower part of the screen for fast access.
Browsing for the high resolution images has a small delay, as the app needs a few moments to detect and load all the large images from your phone. A visible drawback is the presence of some animated advertisement banners that keep on changing in the main screen. Also, some occasional prompts to rate and review the app may appear, but they can be sent off for good with one tap.
Load images to have them shared instantly
As soon as you load a regular picture or select a high resolution image, PhotoShare WiFi will make them available on the network, as it acts like any regular web server. To have others grab your photos you just have to send them the URL address and the download will begin immediately.
An important thing you should note is that sharing high resolution images is a feature that is available only for Nokia 1520 and 1020 devices.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The app comes with a decent GUI, that is clearly more functional than appealing. The graphics are pretty well designed, but the intrusive adverts ruin much of the experience. |
Function7
PhotoShare WiFi works fast and without glitches, so users can download photos from each other's phones in moments. The fact that it doesn't allow multiple files to be send is a letdown, as is the lack of support for sharing high resolution images on more devices. |
Security8
Without any visible relation with its functions, the app requires access to the phone dialer and to the owner's identity area. |
Battery9
Very light on system resources, the application uses only a small amount of power and the battery usage remains low all through its runtime. |
Price8
On the whole the app offers good value and performance, so despite the shortcomings it still is a decent solution for photo sharing. |
Compatibility7
The utility will run properly on the handsets that are powered by Windows Phone 8 and above, while the high resolution sharing feature will work only on Nokia 1020 and 1520 devices. |
A fast solution for sharing photos one at a time
