The design of this app's GUI is leaning more towards the functional side, but without leaving out completely the form.

Going through the various sections of PhotoMic is done smoothly and glitch-free, while the work area is fairly well-sized, offering a very good perspective over the canvas.
Cool layouts and straightforward image handling
This utility enables you to pick the desired collage template from the few models available, but note that many of them are locked and requite a purchase (Premium) or a review and rating of the app (Extra).
Once you decide on the model to use, you can load the pictures, each in its corresponding slot. With the images in place you can make some manual adjustments using touch gestures to increase or decrease the size of the photo or to rotate it into the position you think to be best fitting for it.
Picture editing features and effects at a glance
Each selected pic from the montage you pare working on can be flipped or rotated using a set of dedicated functions. Adding borders and customizing their thickness and color, as well as that of the grid in which the images are sitting can also be carried out with PhotoMic.
Perhaps the best enhancements are the speech bubbles you can insert in your designs and for each of them you can include a text string. Right before completing the saving procedure you will be asked to choose a filter for the edited photo.
