For anyone interested in putting together a beautiful collage in a couple of minutes, there are numerous apps to help in this respect. In case you are one of those people and want a nice utility you can use on the go to make digital image montages, PhotoCollage could be the solution.
Simple and nice looking GUI
The application comes with a friendly interface that has a very simple yet attractive design. The functions are all at hand, while the navigation among photo albums and other menus of the app is seamless.
Most of the space inside the main screen is reserved to the work area, so you can view the project in full while working on it. Unfortunately, there are also some ads displayed all through the application and some prompts to rate the utility.
The preview area is generous, but when adding text, the virtual keyboard covers a good deal of the collage, making it difficult to place the writings in the lower part without having to close the text editor.
Add photos and combine them to obtain various layouts
The picture selection is done in an intuitive manner, as PhotoCollage goes directly inside the photo albums stored onto your phone and allows you to pick the images that will be included in the montage (maximum 9 photos supported).
There are a few interesting frames to choose from and also a set of templates for the collage layout, so you can try and mix them together until obtaining the optimal combination. However, the app would certainly use some more.
In case you want to further personalize the project, you have the possibility to add a text string and place it anywhere on the collection of pics. There are very few image editing options, so users can only rotate and flip the pictures selected for the collage.
