For those who are only looking for some nice filters to apply onto the images stored inside their Windows Phone handsets, Photo Filter Pro offers a few neat effects that can be added on the spot.
Nicely structure layout, with decent graphics
The looks of this application are quite clean and all the commands and functions are neatly placed inside the main screen. The preview area for the loaded pictures is a bit smaller than in other similar apps, but it is sufficient to help you make an idea about how the output image will look like.
Unfortunately, there are no zooming or panning controls you could use to examine the photos up close. Also, another annoyance comes from the large ad banner placed in the lower side of the screen.

add the filters on the goPhoto Filter Pro is able to use any of the images you keep inside your dedicated folders onto your local storage and you can also use it to acquire new snapshots from the phone's built-in camera(s).
The actual processing is very quick for most filters and you only have to tap on the corresponding button to view the modification come into effect immediately inside the preview area.
For a couple of effects, though, applying the change will take a bit longer, especially in the case of the "Oily" filter that needs a few seconds to settle in. Some other effects that will be applied with a small delay are "Magic", "Water" and "Paint".
In case you want to turn back the change and bring back the original pic onto the canvas, this application puts at your fingertips a special button suggestively called "Revert".
A minor letdown is that Photo Filter Pro doesn't support adding several effect one on top of the other, which would have made the picture a lot more interesting and visually appealing.
Also, should you care to share the edited images with your friends, there is no possibility of doing that from inside the app. Thus, you will have to save the photo and send them out from the "Saved Pictures" folder.
