Pattern Planner 1.0
With the help of a simple utility called Pattern Planner you can carry with you onto your mobile phone you can draw the rooms, add tiles and share the results on the fly.
Easy to use layout, with a simple look to it
This application offers a friendly front-end that makes it a breeze to access and use all the features. The blue background with symmetric patterns is a good indicator for the output that can be generated by this tool.
The navigation through the menus and lists of patterns is seamless, while inside the drawing area the prompt response to the commands is to be appreciated. Not so desirable are the advertisement banners shown in the lower side of the screen and which are continuously changing.
Project creation in 2 easy steps
With Pattern Planner you can put together a custom floor plan in a couple of minutes, using the built-in materials and starting from the default design examples. Unfortunately, many of the patterns shown in the corresponding list have to be purchased to be used, so only the first 3 are available.
Once you have decided which tiling model to use, it's time to pick a floor plan or create a custom one. There are 2 examples provided by the app, while you have the possibility to make new ones from scratch, but they will not be saved the next time you open the application.
Quick preview with details and simple export feature
This tool will show you in side the dedicated screen the newly generated floor plan, with the tile pattern you selected. Also, in the next screen you have some more specific data that includes the grout spacing and tile dimensions.
Activating the metric units from the "Settings" area and picking the desired grout space will not be preserved either. To share the projects, you can use the specialized function that exports the plan as an image you can then distribute as you see fit.
