Smooth and practical front-end
This utility comes with a really polished look that successfully combines cool graphics and a functional layout to provide a pleasant overall experience.
The controls are all at hand inside the main screen and the preview area is pretty generous, but, unfortunately, the app doesn't adapt to landscape mode.
Browsing the various menus and lists of filters is seamless, while the selected modifications appear almost instantly on screen. After a few uses, each time you start the application a reminder that prompts you to rate OneCamera will appear.
Quick filter and crop format selection
The app offers a pretty nice set of effects that you can use to take photos with the front-facing or rear camera of your phone.
Thus, from the dedicated menu you just have to tap the filter you are interested in and you will promptly see how it looks like onto the framed subject or landscape.
To pick the most appropriate format for your image, you have the possibility to select it by pressing the dedicated button available in the main menu hosted at the bottom of the screen.
Timed shots and photo sharing
OneCamera offers you some very useful extra options that include adding a camera sound and, more importantly, activating and setting the built-in timer. With a range from 3 to 30 seconds, the latter feature enables you to capture images after a smaller or longer delay.
All the snapshots are stored automatically inside the local storage, but the app also keeps them in its own gallery, so you can view or share them on the fly. Transferring the pics can be done via SMS or email, as well as using the social networks you subscribed to.
After longer use and in certain situations you might experience some unexpected crashes or the app might simply freeze and stop functioning out of the blue.
