For Windows Phone users, there is a simple app that can take care of this task in a really friendly manner and it bears the suggestive name of Odometer.

Clean and simple GUI for quick data input

The utility offers a plain front-end that is clearly made for practical use at the expense of visual appeal because it lacks any element of design that could be considered as attractive. The dull interface has a very organized layout that makes it easy to add the odometer values and review them.

The navigation through the various lists and sections of the app is fluent and without any lags. There is, nonetheless, a noticeable drawback that comes in the form of some animated ad banners, which are displayed in the lower side of the screen and will follow you around the application.

Detailed statistics and fast export of data sheets

Odometer provides a simple method of adding records, by offering a generous virtual numeric keypad. The values you input are transferred automatically in the "day" count and added to the monthly count.

For every entry you can add some extra details by using the "save & edit" function, more precisely you will be able to add a short note that may contain, for example, the names of the places you drove between.

Each record in the daily section includes the hour when it was added, the current mileage and the number of miles traveled since the last entry was made. In case you want to send the records to your computer, there is a dedicated export feature that transfers the information in Excel format to your OneDrive account with one tap.
