Nice looks for a rather practical app
This utility has a cool interface, where the elements of design are quite pleasing to the look at and carefully arranged. The sound tiles also display some relevant and appropriate photos for you to enjoy.
Browsing the various sections of the utility has a relatively fluent feel to it, while the main functions are kept at hand and easy to reach. On the downside, there are some delays at startup insofar as loading the lists of sounds is concerned.
Choose the sounds to play from the list
Naturals offers a wide variety of sounds and keeps them neatly organized under several relevant categories, so as to make it easier for you to go through them.
Tapping any of the items will trigger the playback and there is a dedicated button for this in the main menu, which also serves for pausing the sounds.
However, the first time you will try to play something, the application will have to download the sound package, which his a rather lengthy operation that takes a few minutes to complete
The quality of the audio is decent, but the loops are too short and less fluent, so for many sounds you will certainly hear when they reach the point where the repeat begins.
A more annoying drawback is represented by the fact that you only get 10 sounds for free and the rest are only available after making a purchase.
Record and save custom sounds on the fly
One of the best features of Naturals and one that is available freely is the ability to capture audio from the built-in phone microphone so you can create recordings of your own and use them inside the app.
Before actually saving the freshly captured sounds you have the possibility to assign a custom name and, more importantly, add an image from those you keep in your library to serve as the thumbnail for the new entry in the "Custom" category.
