Morse Encoder 1.0.0.0
The advantage of this method of communication is that phone cold use several types of signals to send out the dots and dashes that made up the code, so if you fancy taking a trip in the early 20th century and even a bit earlier, you can take Morse Encoder for a spin onto your modern Windows Phone handset.
Plain front-end for a practical app
This utility brings you a simple layout, unadorned and with average graphics. Instead, the content is kept pretty well organized, with all the commands at hand and easy to reach.
Inside the main screen are hosted the messages you types in and they appear in the order of their creation, lacking any method of modifying the viewing mode.
The input area is sufficient to accommodate six lines of text and all the letter characters are automatically converted to uppercase.
Add and play messages on the fly
Morse Encoder enables you to easily type in the texts you want to have translated into Morse code and unless you tap the delete button shown in the main menu that resides in the lower part of the screen, each of them will be saved and added to the list displayed in the main screen.
The code is shown right under the input box and at any moment you can choose to have it played in the dedicated area of the application. The play/pause control works only partially, meaning that if you pause the playback, resuming it will start from the beginning.
In-depth configuration at a glance
With this application you can send out light signals and the default color can be easily modified from the "Settings" area, so the phone's screen will flash in the preferred hue you will choose using the advanced color picker tool.
There are lots of other customizations you can make and they pertain to the duration of the unit and to the number of units assigned to each element, dash, dot or gap. If you want to have a recurring message played by Morse Encoder, there is a special feature you can activate and make it happen.
