Lumia Refocus 1.1.4.6
Windows Phone users to rely on the digital camera built-in their mobile device will surely be appreciate having a utility like Lumia Refocus at hand, as it offers some impressive features and neat sharing abilities.
Intuitive front-end, with a common layout
This application offers a decent interface, designed mainly for practical use as it features a nice arrangement of the functions and commands, as well as a generous preview and live view screen.
Most of the time you will be using the utility in landscape orientation, for acquiring processing and modifying the photos and only seldom in portrait mode, when making the sharing method selection or while exploring the images stored inside the app.
The camera live view is pretty responsive, but there will be some longer waiting times for processing the snapshots and also while uploading the pics.
Capture photos and customize them on the spot
Lumia Refocus will only work with the images it captures and with those kept inside the "Album" section, so if you expect to use it with just about any picture from your phone, this will not be possible.
The actual snapshot capture will take a bit longer than with regular camera apps because extra processing is required to include all the available focus points that you will discover later.
Once the pic is ready, you can tap on it to change the focus to the desired area of the photograph. To make everything inside the image clear at once, there is a special feature called "All In Focus" you can rely on.
The great "Color Pop" function will make it possible for you to give an original look to every picture, by selecting a certain object whose colors will be the only ones to remain visible inside the photo, while the rest is turned to gray.
Share images with help from OneDrive
With the help of Lumia Refocus you can save and share all your pics as long as you have a working Internet connection at hand. The application will first need access to your OneDrive account in order to upload and then send the photos to the dedicated online service.
A link to the Refocus photo will be automatically included in the message you send out via email, SMS or social networks, so your friends can access the image and change the focus by tapping or clicking the picture inside their web browser.
To view which photos you shared, simply head on to the dedicated are of the app, next to the "Album" section and from there tap any image to view it in your browser, share it again or unshare it with one tap.
