When using Kuddle for the first time, you will have to sign up and after specifying a few details about the kid who gets the account you will have an option to request confirmation and approval from a parent or another caregiver via email if the child is under 13 years old. If this is skipped, that account will not be visible on network.

The purpose of having that email address filled in is to offer the parent the possibility to view their child's posts and list of friends. The content they consider to be inappropriate can be this way removed and if there is someone on that list who shouldn't be, a removal option is provided through the emails.

The app uses the phone's camera to capture images that can be shared immediately, with an optional caption written in any color the kid likes. Viewing the published photos of friends is possible by accessing the Kuddle feed or simply by visiting the profile of those on the contact list.

Giving a "like" to a friend's post is done very easily, by double tapping the image and things are kept very discreet here because there is no possibility of commenting or disliking pics, so as to avoid cyberbullying.
