A more specialized application that is tailored to take care of a single task is ImagiC and it's main purpose is to help you choose and apply the best filters for your digital pictures.
Convenient design for a practical front-end
Once you install and start the app you will be greeted by a simple GUI, with all the commands in plain sight, so you can access them with no efforts. There is a lot of space reserved for the image preview, so you will be able to look closely at all the changes you make during the process.
The preview area for the loaded pictures is a bit smaller than in other similar apps, but it is sufficient to help you make an idea about how the output image will look like. Unfortunately, there are no zooming or panning controls you could use to examine the photos up close.
Capture snapshots or edit existing photos
The application enables you to pick one image from those stored locally onto your phone or acquire a fresh one using the built-in camera of your handset then process it on the spot.
ImagiC offers you a lot of filters to choose from and the long list contains the thumbnail previews of each of them applied to the currently loaded image. Nonetheless, it is important to note that some of the enhancements are more complex and the processing requires a bit of extra time, so applying them could take a few more seconds.
A great thing about this utility is the fact that you can apply as many effects as you want onto the same picture and in case you want to revert some of the changes, there is a dedicated "undo filter" function inside the main menu and you can also clear all effect with one tap on the dedicated button.
Save and share the customized images
As soon as you are done adding filters to the loaded picture, you will be able to save a copy of the edited photo so you can retrieve it later from the "Saved Pictures" folder on your mobile device.
In case you feel like sending out the images to your friends, ImagiC is able to provide several sharing options, namely through social networks, SMS or email messages.
