Those who want to create such a safe area onto their Windows Phones have several choices at their disposal and one of the apps tailored specifically for such purposes is Image Locker Metro.
Cool looking and well structured interface
This application comes with a really nice appearance that relies mostly on some beautiful background images. By default, the wallpapers are taken for the Internet, but you have the possibility to choose the source and use the pictures stored on your phone, for instance.
The content is structured in an organized manner, making it easy to access and handle, while the functions and controls are at hand. Thus, you can access them either from the main menu hosted at the bottom of the screen or by tapping and holding an item to reveal the entire list of available commands for managing it.
Moving through the app's various sections and browsing the albums is pretty fluent, but there is a noticeable and bothersome delay when making the selections for the files to be included in a collection.

Image Locker Metro allows you to add as many containers as you need to include inside them the pictures and clips you want to safeguard.
Unfortunately, the free version does not support having more than 20 items per album, so you will have to pay to remove this limitation and also some other functional restrictions that differentiate it from the Premium edition.
A neat feature of this app is the ability to pin to a dedicated area each album you create and there are several types you can choose, like mosaic, slideshow (only one in the free version), square or flip tile. Note that you might experience some problems with the last format as it is not working properly.
Advanced options and security settings at a glance
Besides the video recording ability that is in fact mandatory to be used in order to store videos inside Image Locker Metro, you can view the photos kept inside the albums as slideshows with customizable settings or edit and enhance the pics with the built-in utility powered by Aviary.
Importing and exporting video content from a connected PC is possible, but it requires a third-party app to establish the connection and make the transfers possible.
The security options are pretty easy to configure, but the login method is limited to the password choice unless the Premium version is purchased. Individual permissions can be set for each listed user and there is even a password recovery recovery option you can activate and use.
