Among the numerous tools of this kind, Golf Live aims to offer a good deal of information presented in an easy to read manner for all users.
Clean interface, with a smart layout
The application comes with a neat look, not too eye-candy, but also not really appalling and the focus is clearly set on practical use, especially when taking into consideration the well organized structure of the content. Moving inside the menus and through the article and video lists is fluent and without any inconveniences.
There are, nonetheless, some disruptions that come from the continuously changing adverts displayed at the bottom of the screen. Once in a while, some prompts to rate and review the app will appear when opening the utility.
Plenty of news, stats and scores at your fingertips
Golf Live comes equipped with a handful of news sources that you can switch with ease, but unfortunately not all of them are kept up to date and some do not offer any content at all. Also the "Tournaments" area seems to be stuck as it doesn't even show the upcoming events.
Considerably better prepared are the ranking, PGA tweets and tour report areas of the application, which make it possible for you to get detailed info on each player, official headlines and more. Sometimes, the golf player details may be unavailable, but a restart of the app should solve this in most cases, as it seems to be a connectivity issue.
The tour stats and FedEx Cup sections are regrettably unavailable and thus can be added to the long list of malfunctions.
