Professional looking and easy to use GUI
The interface of this app is quite polished, offering some visually appealing backgrounds and well designed graphics from end to end. Browsing through the impressive amount of information contained in several sections of this tool is smooth and without any glitches.
There is a visible drawback inside the GUI and it is represented by the animated advertisement banners that seem to be glued to the lower part of the screen. Occasionally some prompts to rate the app will appear, but they can easily be dismissed for good.
Get all the news and scores you want at a glance
Football Pro '14 shows in the first screen the live scores and if you tap on any of the matches, you will access the extra content that includes interviews, statistics, videos, photos, discussions and more. The only inconvenient seems to be the fact that the screen orientation is locked by default to landscape mode in this area of the app, which makes it a bit difficult to read the information.
Just below the news section you can create a personal profile and choose your favorite team then pin its tile to the Start screen. You will also and receive notifications when someone posts comments in the Sports Talk section of your team or when updates from the team are available.
Viewing the standings and checking out the teams and their rosters is also possible inside this app. A neat feature of this utility is the ability to make player comparisons for each position, by putting side by side members of any team to view their personal stats.
