Folder Play 1.3.1.3

A simple app that can turn any folder containing audio content into a playlist
Creating song lists and loading them into a dedicated player application can be a bit time consuming, so many users will try to find a faster way of playing the music tracks.

Windows Phone users are fortunate enough to have at their disposal a great deal of specialized applications and one of the more interesting is Folder Play.

Plain interface with a nice design for each element

Through a very simple and clean GUI, this app makes it possible to add folders and play the songs with minimal efforts. The graphics are quite nicely done, with each icon carefully designed and all the commands neatly placed for ease of use.

The playlist view is also well organized and it provides quite a few details concerning each element included in the list. More precisely, you can check out the track's name, the artist and album, as well as the full file name in the same view.

The smart placement of the controls facilitates the access to all the functions and the app only needs some extra customizations for backgrounds and themes.

Basic playback features and impressive ease of use

Folder Play is a breeze to operate since all you have to do is add the paths to music folders using the "Add" command and then, to have those files play in the order they appear inside the directories, simply tap the play button next to each entry in the main screen.

The player component comes with a basic set of controls, so you can move backwards and forward inside the list, shuffle the songs and put all the tracks on repeat or have just one of them loop continuously.

There is also a slider that is made to help you navigate inside the track to the exact time you want.Unfortunately the play order cannot be changed manually, even if the app uses the source folders as playlists.
